The RunX Summer Run is a Friday evening race at Wheelerplanet on Zijkanaal C Weg, just outside Spaarndam. The course is paved and entirely traffic-free, which makes for a flat, fast loop along the water and through the open polder. Runners choose between 5 and 10 kilometres, with the field deliberately capped at five hundred so that it stays a manageable evening rather than a city race. The ten kilometres carries a team classification for teams of five, in which the best three times count. Runners start in corrals by pace and changing facilities are available.
