The Rozendaalse Veldtrail is an evening trail run organised by the Rozendaalse Bedriegertjeslopers, starting in Park Rosendael opposite the Boerderij. Both distances, 6 and 12 kilometres, open straight away with a steep climb past the churchyard, after which long forest paths alternate with single tracks. Part of the routes crosses the Rozendaalse Veld, in the Posbank area, where the heather is in full bloom at the end of August. The 12 kilometres sets off at seven o'clock, the 6 kilometres a quarter of an hour later. The organisers keep things practical: a changing tent but no showers, and limited parking, so participants are encouraged to come by bicycle. The race has been going for more than forty years.
