The Pios Run is the jogging event of the Pionniers d'Anseremme, the village's scout section, starting at La Darse on the Avenue Amand de Mendieta. The programme is deliberately small: 5 kilometres for anyone who wants to join in, 10 kilometres for those after more, and a children's run of 1 kilometre. The running happens along the Meuse just outside Dinant, where the valley is narrow and the water is never far away. The finish area has a bar and entertainment, and the proceeds go to the project of the scout group behind the event. That makes the day feel more like a village party with a race in it than the other way round.
