Maredret Night Trail is an evening trail race in and around Maredret, near Anhée, starting and finishing on the Rue des Artisans, close to the Maredsous estate. There are four distances: 10, 17, 27 and 34 kilometres. The longest set off first and the shorter ones later in the evening, so almost every participant covers part of the course at dusk or in the dark. The routes are technical enough to set themselves clearly apart from a road race, with substantial climbing through the wooded valleys around the village and several aid stations along the way. A head torch here is not an extra but the tool you run the trail with.
