Natuurloop ZigZag Steenbrugge

About the race

The Natuurloop ZigZag Steenbrugge by AC Sodibrug starts and finishes at OLVA Steenbrugge primary school on the Baron Ruzettelaan in Assebroek. The course sticks to unpaved terrain as much as possible: tree-lined lanes, gravel and towpaths, and stretches of single-track. The 5 km stays within the Steenbrugse Bosjes woods, the 10 km also passes the Gemene Weiden meadows. The 24 km explores the Assebroekse Meersen, the Beverhoutsveld and the Leiemeersen towards Oostkamp and Beernem, then returns along the Bruges-Ghent canal, with refreshments along the way. Children run one or two laps (400 or 800 m) in the school garden. Bring your own cup, as there are no disposable cups.
