Moerhofloop Moerbeke-Waas

About the race

The Moerhofloop of Joggingclub Moerbeke-Waas sets off from the sports hall on the Moerhofstraat and runs through the wooded Moerhof area and the Wullebossen. There is no timing and no gun: you leave whenever it suits you, somewhere between quarter to nine and eleven, over 9.5, 16.2 or 22 kilometres. Every route can be walked as well as run. Do keep an eye on the clock: the refreshment posts along the way close at half past one and the one at the finish at half past two, so starting the 22 at eleven leaves less room than it looks. According to the organisers, fifty to seventy-five per cent of the routes run on unpaved roads and paths.
