The LOOP Trail in Plainevaux, in the municipality of Neupré, is an endurance race on a loop of roughly 7.5 kilometres with some 200 metres of climbing. A new lap sets off on every full hour: anyone back in time may start again, anyone who misses the hour stops there. You choose in advance how long you keep going — three, six, nine or twelve hours — so the number in your category's name refers to hours rather than laps. Anyone wanting to sample the format first runs the Discovery: a single lap. The start and finish are at the Maison des Jeunes on the Rue du Centre, with refreshments and indoor space between laps.
