Liberty Run Waalwijk is an evening road race through the centre of Waalwijk on Liberation Day. The event is fully paved and compact, with short races for children, events for G-athletes and main distances over 2.5 and 5 English miles. With the race centred around Raadhuisplein, the shopping streets and the city-centre crowds, it feels more like a local celebration than a faceless fast loop. There is still plenty of room to race seriously: the 5-mile event attracts seniors and masters, the 2.5-mile race suits youth runners and recreational athletes, and the programme is part of the GO Wolluk Circuit.
