Landgoed Morren Run

About the race

The Landgoed Morren Run starts at the football club VSCO'61 on sports park De Heughte in Oosterwolde and leads through the estate and the surrounding countryside. The timed run is open to all ages and offers three distances: 2.5, 5 and 10 kilometres. For the youngest participants there are kids' runs over 500 and 1000 metres, and anyone who prefers to walk can follow a waymarked route of about nine kilometres. The starting gun goes in the middle of the morning, so the whole programme is done within half a day. The race is run in aid of a charity and has grown in a few years into a significant event in the region.
