Ren Voor Hun Leven Cross

About the race

Ren Voor Hun Leven is a cross-country race in the Zwolse Bos near Heerde, on the Veluwe. The course is entirely off-road and includes several stiff climbs; the route alternates oak and birch avenues with hilly heathland. Participants choose between 5 and 10 kilometres, the longer distance setting off first and the 5 kilometres later in the morning. Companies can enter teams over the 5 kilometres, and anyone who prefers walking can cover a route of the same length through the woods. What gives the race its character is where the entry fee goes: entirely to charity, so every participant contributes from the moment they sign up.
