The Kooyman Polderloop is an evening race in De Kwakel, starting and finishing on the festival grounds at the Evenementenlaan. The course runs over paved polder roads in and around the village. The evening opens with the 1.2-kilometre loop, used both for the kids run and the G-run; the 4 and the 10 kilometres follow. Those two distances can also be run as a team: the fastest times within a squad are added together, with a team on the ten kilometres consisting of at least four runners and on the four kilometres of six. Afterwards everything moves into the marquee, with music, a keepsake for every participant and prize ceremonies. Athletics club AKU organises the race together with the festival committee.
