Koning(in) van de Hotond

About the race

Koning(in) van de Hotond is a trail by Ten Voeten Uit on and around the highest point of East Flanders. Start and finish are at Sporthotel Hotond on the Zandstraat in Kluisbergen, and entrants set off freely within a morning window rather than at a single gun. There are three distances: 6 kilometres with 140 metres of climbing, 12 with 315 and 21 with 520. That is a lot for Flanders, and it comes from the well-known climbs of the Flemish Ardennes — the ground around the Paterberg and the Oude Kwaremont is on the route. Along the way it runs through sunken lanes and woodland. There is no time limit.
