The Kippenren Barneveld is a town-centre race starting and finishing on the Raadhuisplein, where the event has set off since its first edition in 2008. The quarter marathon of 10.55 kilometres goes for variety: paved roads, unpaved paths, the 't Paradijs countryside and a loop through the village. The eighth marathon over 5.275 kilometres stays entirely paved and is the faster of the two. Children run the Kuikenloop around the town hall earlier in the day, each age group with its own distance between 600 and 1200 metres. There is a company run as well. The proceeds go to local charities; the organising foundation holds ANBI status.
