Kermisrun Tilburg

About the race

The Kermisrun leads straight across the Tilburg funfair, one of the largest in the country, and through the city centre. The start and finish are in the main hall of the 013 music venue. What makes it distinctive is what the course passes through: you run through buildings that are normally not a running route, including the LocHal, a cinema and a care home, and along the way you can take rides on fairground attractions. There is entertainment beside the route and snacks to pick up. Runners set off in waves twenty minutes apart, so the narrow streets, stairs and interiors do not jam up; you choose your wave when you enter.
