The Kermisjogging of Morkhoven is the village race that traditionally falls on the last Tuesday of August, during the funfair. The start and finish are at the primary school gymnasium on the Streepstraat. The course is a loop of a little over three kilometres through the streets and fields around the village; adults run one, two or three of them, making up 3, 6 or 9 kilometres, with a joint start. Before that the children take their turn, with distances from thirty metres for the smallest to a kilometre for twelve year olds. Everyone receives a gift at the finish. The race is carried by the local brass band and the Landelijke Gilde.
