The Jogging Decathlon Alleur sets off in front of the Decathlon car park on Rue du Commerce in Alleur, part of the municipality of Ans near Liège. The course is a 3.3-kilometre loop that you cover once, twice or three times, adding up to 3.3, 6.6 or 9.9 kilometres. The routes are flat and fast: partly on the road and partly on the RAVeL network, the Walloon cycle paths built on former railway beds. All distances start together in the middle of the morning. The race is part of the Challenge La Meuse, a series of joggings in the province of Liège, which brings series contenders to the start alongside recreational runners.
