The Jogging de l'Ascension is the evening jogging of Henri-Chapelle, setting off from the village school on the Chemin des Ecoliers. The main race covers 7.35 kilometres and starts at half past seven in the evening, through the hilly Pays de Herve. Before that it is the children's turn: there is a baby jogging for kindergarten children and series by age group for primary school. The race is part of the Challenge La Meuse and is marked there as a bonus race, which makes it count for more to anyone following the season standings. A bar and a small food stand stand by the school, so the evening carries on for a while after the finish.
