Les 4 Cimes is a hilly road race in the Pays de Herve, named after the four summits that give the course its character. The main distance is 33 kilometres with around 660 metres of climbing and a four-and-a-half-hour time limit; the profile leaves few flat metres. Anyone not ready for that can run Les 2 Cimes over 16 kilometres: it takes in the first and the fourth summit plus the feared mur de Bouxhmont, giving an honest taste of the longer version. There is also an accessible 6 kilometres. Pre-registration is free, and entry on the day is still possible for a small fee. Spectators along almost the entire course are part of the deal here.
