HeteRUN

About the race

The HeteRUN is the village race of Heteren, a village in the Overbetuwe between Arnhem and Nijmegen. The programme consists of four events: two children's runs of 500 and 1000 metres, and after them the 5 and the 10 kilometres over an entirely paved route through and around the village. The organisers deliberately keep it small and say themselves that taking part matters more than winning, which sets the tone for the day: times are recorded, but the result is not the point. For runners from the Betuwe it is above all a fixed autumn date close to home. The event is organised by Stichting HeteRUN.
