Groot Boeschoten Trail

About the race

The Groot Boeschoten Trail starts at Camping de Zanderij on the Hoge Boeschoterweg and explores the Boeschoten nature area on the edge of the Veluwe. The course is ninety-nine percent unpaved and alternates open fields with extensive forest towards Speuld, Huinen and Garderen. It is not the elevation but the constant change of surface and the single tracks that make it hard. Along the way the route passes the sheep shelters of Groot and Klein Boeschoten, which date from around 1800 and serve as the trail's landmark. There are four running distances from 6 to 35 kilometres, two walking distances and children's courses. The event is organised by Cairn Trails & Adventures.
