GR Provincie Trail Henegouwen

About the race

The GR Provincie Trail Henegouwen sets off by the church on the Place in Ellezelles and follows a section of a GR long-distance path through the hill country of Hainaut. There are two distances, 21 and 42 kilometres, and the field is capped at forty runners. There are no ribbons of the organiser's own: you follow the GR waymarking, with a GPX file as a backstop. Navigation is therefore part of the race. Aid stations stand roughly every ten kilometres. Marathon finishers receive a medal; on the half it is optional. Every edition follows a different stretch of the route, so you never run the same ground twice.
