GR Provincie Trail Antwerpen

About the race

The GR Provincie Trail Antwerpen follows a section of a GR long-distance path through Beveren, Kruibeke and Zwijndrecht, setting off from Kruibeke. There are two distances, a half marathon and a marathon, and the field is deliberately capped at forty runners. The course is not marked with the organiser's own ribbons but follows the GR waymarking; a week beforehand you get a GPX file as a backstop. That makes navigation part of the race. Aid stations stand roughly every ten kilometres and are cup-free, so your own bottle or cup is needed. Marathon finishers receive a medal; on the half it is optional.
