Devil's Trail - Rijk van Nijmegen

About the race

Devil's Trail Rijk van Nijmegen sets off from Camping De Groote Flierenberg on the Zevenheuvelenweg in Berg en Dal, in the middle of the hill country around the Duivelsberg. There are three routes: the Flierenberg over eleven kilometres with around 150 metres of climbing, the Langenberg over 22 kilometres with about 300, and the Wolfsberg over 33 kilometres with roughly 400 metres of elevation gain. The distances start in waves, the longest one first. The course consists of forest paths and singletrack with short, punchy climbs that turn extra slippery in autumn under the fallen leaves. The organiser points out that the actual distance can vary by five to ten percent from the figures quoted. Stichting Sportbeleving stages the trail together with Sporteiland.
