Dare To Run

About the race

Dare to Run is the recreational evening race of the Alveringem local authority, starting and finishing at the football pitch on the Oerenstraat. At six the children run; at quarter to seven the two adult distances go: 6 kilometres and a longer loop of 10.180 kilometres — not a round figure but the actual length of the course. The fifth edition brings a new route and a new start location. Because it falls on a Friday evening in May, the running is done in the last of the daylight.
