The DAK Park Run is an evening event on and around the athletics track of running and walking club DAK on the Prins Hendrikstraat in Drunen. The lap measures a thousand metres and consists of 400 metres of synthetic track and 600 metres of asphalt through the park, which gives an unusual change of surface within a single loop. The programme starts with the youth: 400 metres for children up to ten, then a thousand metres up to sixteen. At half past seven the 3000 and 5000 metres follow, which can be covered running or walking. There is no prize ceremony; the set-up is meant for moving together, getting to know the club and still putting down a decent time.
