Start and finish are at the RFC Rhisnois clubhouse on the Rue des Chômeurs. The course is a lap of about three kilometres covered once, twice or three times: 3, 6 or 9 kilometres. Because the run forms part of a mountain bike evening, the atmosphere is that of a village festival in which the race is one item rather than the whole programme.
