Corrida de Meux

About the race

The Corrida de Meux is the village corrida of the municipal school of Meux, a district of La Bruyère in the province of Namur, setting off from the Rue Janquart. There are three distances that follow on neatly from one another: 3.5, 7 and 10.5 kilometres, which is one, two or three times the same stretch. That makes the choice simple — no weighing up dissimilar routes, just deciding how long you want to be out. The school carries the event itself, which sets the tone: a Sunday morning corrida where the village and the school community make up the core of the field, with the classifications for the two longest distances appearing in the regional press.
