Coast Run 2026
Coast Run is a summer coastal race in Westende, part of Middelkerke, with courses through the dunes and across the beach near Sint-Laureins. Alongside a free youth run of about 1000 metres, the organiser offers two main distances: 6 km and 10 km. The shorter distance is recreational and straightforward, while the 10 km heads through the dune areas of Westende and Lombardsijde and counts towards the Loopcriterium van de Kust. Start and finish are at the parking area on Strandlaan, with De Calidris as the practical hub. Thanks to the mix of sand, dunes, sea views and evening holiday atmosphere, Coast Run feels different from a standard road race while remaining clear and accessible.
