Bruggenloop Kortrijk is an inclusive city race starting from the Sint-Amandsplein, organised by Bruggenloop 2.0. The morning consists of consecutive starts: first 100 metres for toddlers, 300 metres for kids, 1200 metres for teenagers and a 900-metre G-run, then the 6 kilometres at half past ten and the 12 kilometres a quarter of an hour later. That 12 kilometres covers two laps of the city circuit that strings together the river Leie and the bridges of Kortrijk. Because every group gets its own start, the race stays manageable for young participants and athletes with a disability, while anyone who wants more finds a proper competition — all within the same Kortrijk running morning.
