Briqville Classic is a nature run in Steendorp, with Natuurdomein Roomkouter as the start and finish location. Lokaal Bestuur Temse organises a programme that is much broader than one classic distance: children run 400 or 850 metres, adult participants can choose 5, 10 or 21 km, and teams can take on the Briqville Relay as 3 x 7 km. The course around Roomkouter and the Finnish track gives the event a clearly green, semi-trail character, so the discipline reads better as trail or nature running than as a pure road race. The combination of children's races, individual distances and relay format makes Briqville Classic sporty, family-friendly and locally recognisable at the same time.
