The Briqville Classic is run from the Roomkouter nature reserve in Steendorp, over a course that stays green and semi-offroad rather than following the road. The day starts the opposite way round from what you would expect: at eleven the 21 kilometres and the three-times-seven relay set off, while the 5 and the 10 kilometres do not go until the afternoon. In between the children run their 400 or 850 metres. Everyone who finishes gets a medal, and adults also receive a Cuvée De Briqville from the Van Goethem brewery. A relay team enters as a unit and gets three shirts with advance registration.
