BrasserRun & Walk is the annual running and walking afternoon staged by De BrasserRunners in Schepdaal, with the Caerenbergveld sports hall as the event base. Runners choose between road races of 5, 10 and 15 kilometres; the 15 kilometres consists of the 10-kilometre course followed by the 5-kilometre course in reverse. Each distance has its own colour on the signs, with kilometre markers along the way, marshals at the main junctions and cyclists accompanying the first and the last runner. Walkers cover 5 or 10 kilometres and are given their supplies at the start. Children have runs of 400, 800 and 1500 metres. Aid points are spread across the longer distances, with a generous spread waiting in the finish area.
