HomeVast Beveren 5 Miles is an evening road race in the centre of Beveren, with the Grote Markt as the recognisable start and event zone. The programme builds gradually: a Groenten en fruitloop for the youngest children, two kids' runs, the Beverse 1 mile and then the Beverse 5 mile as the main race. The 5 mile consists of five one-mile laps, which makes it easy for supporters to follow the race and brings runners back through the centre regularly. Organised by Atletiek Volharding in cooperation with HomeVast, the event combines electronic timing with the atmosphere of the Beverse Feesten. The result is a compact local road race with strong attention to youth, spectators and evening atmosphere.
