The BerenLoop is AC Beernem's street race, with the start, finish and registration around the De Kleine Beer community centre on the C. Marichalstraat. The afternoon begins with the youth: first the girls over 650 metres, twenty minutes later the boys, then the 1300 metres. For adults there are three distances — 5, 10 and 15 kilometres — over a flat course through the village. Bibs can be collected from midday until half an hour before your own start. The set-up remains that of a municipal running event: easy to follow, with plenty of club volunteers and a field that, from the youth races up to fifteen kilometres, comes from the same corner of the country.
