Beach Run Koksijde is the 45th edition of the beach race in Sint-Idesbald, with youth races on the Zeedijk and 5 km and 10 km for the longer distances. The 5 km and 10 km start at Kerkepannezaal on Strandlaan and finish on the Zeedijk, keeping the event firmly tied to the beach and seaside resort setting. Youth runners have 1 km and 2 km races matched to age categories. The race is part of the Loopcriterium van de Kust and is organised by Sportdienst Koksijde. Expect not a flat asphalt road race, but a summer coastal event shaped by sand, sea air and a compact evening schedule.
