The Banthumloop is the evening race of the Bergentheim festival week, starting and finishing around the Dr. J.H.C. Bastingplein. The programme builds from young to fast: at half past five the children go off over 500 metres, then 1000 and 1500 metres by age group, and at half past six the one-kilometre Fun Run for everyone. At half past seven the 5 kilometres, the 10 kilometres and the four-times-2.5-kilometre relay all set off together. The course runs through the village and keeps coming back to the square, so participants and spectators stay together all evening. Stichting Banthumloop organises the event.
