Achelse Kluis Trail

About the race

The Achelse Kluis Trail starts at the gate of the Trappist abbey Achelse Kluis, right on the Belgian-Dutch border. From there you run into the De Groote Heide border park and pass the Doodendraad, the electrified border fence from the First World War. You choose between 25, 20, 14 and 10 km over nature trails; the starts follow one another from 1.15 p.m. Because parking is limited, entries are capped at 750 participants and carpooling or cycling is encouraged. This is the second edition, organised by Go Dare as part of the Vandersanden Limburg Runs.
