About the race

The 3bossentrail run by AV Wieringermeer takes you through the three woods of the Wieringermeer, on footpaths past green fields, alternating with singletracks and boardwalks. Where possible the route is unpaved. You choose between 14, 17 or 28 km, and there's a small-scale 14 km canicross trail where you run with your dog on a lead. Start and finish are at the Noorderdijkweg in Wieringerwerf; you set off from 10:00 in start waves and must finish before 15:00. There's deliberately no time-keeping: enjoying nature comes first. Bring your own cup.
