The 10 km of Uccle starts at three in the afternoon in the Wolvendael park and heads from there into the streets of the municipality, taking in the Avenue Circulaire, the Drève du Caporal and the Chaussée de Waterloo. There is exactly one distance and no side programme: ten kilometres, entry from the age of twelve, done. That does not make it a small race — well over four thousand finishers cross the line, which puts it among the larger road races in Brussels. The sports department of the municipality of Uccle carries the organisation, and it shows in the set-up: an urban course that begins and ends in the greenest corner of the commune.
