Stasegem LOOPT

About the race

Stasegem LOOPT! is an evening race in Harelbeke-Stasegem, starting and finishing at the Zuiderkouter community centre on the Generaal Deprezstraat. The programme begins with the children, who run distances from five hundred metres to a kilometre, after which the 5 kilometres sets off and later in the evening the 10 kilometres. What makes the race distinctive is where the entry fee goes: at least ten euros per participant is donated to charity. In 2025 that raised nine thousand euros, divided between three local organisations. De Stasegemse Vrienden carry the event, from the conviction that running makes people better.
