The Semi-Marathon de Jurbise is organised by the municipality's own sports department, starting and finishing in the Parc communal. The morning opens at nine with the free Kids Run for children of five to ten; half an hour later the half marathon sets off, and at ten the 5 and 10 kilometre joggings go together. What stands out is the price: a jogging costs five euros in advance and the half marathon twelve, both two euros more on the day. For a timed half marathon that is exceptionally low, which fits an event carried by the municipality rather than by a commercial organiser.
