Rondje Lindewijk is a performance run through the water-rich Lindewijk district of Wolvega, starting and finishing on the Eikepage in the middle of the neighbourhood. The programme runs from a Kabouterrun over 500 metres and kids runs over a kilometre to 4 and 8 kilometres and ten English miles. Framerunners have a start of their own over the kilometre. The afternoon opens with the ten miles, after which the children's races follow and the 4 and 8 kilometres go together. That build-up puts almost everyone on the line at a different moment while the rest watch — it is more a neighbourhood sports day than a race. It is organised by Atletiekvereniging Start '78 together with Beweegteam Weststellingwerf and the district's project organisation.
