Reigerboscross

About the race

The opening race of the AV Heerenveen Winter Competition, which runs from October to March and comprises six races. The cross goes through the woods of Oranjewoud, just east of Heerenveen; last season the registration table even stood among the trees. You choose between a short distance of 3 kilometres and a long one of 6 kilometres. Anyone taking part in several races of the competition stands a chance in the final standings, for which the four best results count.
