LoonLoopt is the running day of Borgloon, with start and finish at the Stroopfabriek, which also houses the changing space and the toilets. The programme runs from children's races over 500 metres and 1 kilometre to a 5 and a 10 kilometre on the road, and since the second edition a 15 kilometre trail has been added. The road races count towards the Victors Cup, a Limburg regularity series linking seven street races. The Haspengouw landscape around Borgloon is undulating and full of fruit orchards, which provides the relief especially on the trail. The starts are spread across the day, from half past nine in the morning into the early afternoon.
