L'Havrésienne is run in Havré, a district of Mons, with start and finish on the Rue du Château. There are two distances for adults, 12 and 7 kilometres, setting off shortly after one another in the morning. The children follow later: first a race of 650 metres for four to six year olds, then 1.3 kilometres for seven to nine year olds. The course runs entirely on the road and is laid out without detours or technical sections. Registration is possible only in advance and online; on the day itself there is no option left, which keeps the organisation straightforward on race day.
