Kerstcorrida Tielt 2026
The Kerstcorrida Tielt is an evening race through the centre of Tielt on Boxing Day. The course is entirely paved and closed to traffic, with a hilly character: the start is on the Tramstraat and the finish on the Markt. The 5 kilometres is run in separate heats for men and women over two small laps, while the 10 kilometres covers two large laps with everyone together. Before that, the youth heats work their way around their own 800-metre lap, with the oldest age group doing a double lap. The Europahal, a short walk from the finish, serves as the base for registration and the prize-giving. Athletics club Molenland has been organising the corrida for close to forty years.
