Kerkenloop Kortessem 2026
The Kerkenloop starts and finishes on the athletics track by the Kortessem sports hall and heads from there into the rolling country of Haspengouw. There are two distances, 5.6 and 14 kilometres, over a mixture of tarmac and unpaved lanes between the villages and their churches — which is where the race takes its name from. Children taking part receive a medal at the finish. The event is organised by ADD Kortessem-Hoeselt, with the support of the city of Hasselt.
