Jogging PiHorys

About the race

The Jogging PiHorys is organised by the scout and guide group of Auvelais, a district of Sambreville in the province of Namur. The start is on the Rue Radache, in the neighbourhood where the group has its premises. There are two distances, 5 and 10 kilometres, on a road course designed for recreational running. The proceeds go to the scout group's own activities, and the aid stations and marshals along the route are staffed by that same group. This makes it less a race than a club day that happens to include running, suited to those taking it gently as much as to anyone chasing a sharp time.
