The Jogging de l'Athénée de Gembloux is a school race organised from start to finish by the pupils themselves: the final-year students of the events option put the whole thing together, with help from their physical education teachers. The start and finish are on the campus on rue Gustave Docq. The evening opens with a free children's run for the under-twelves, and childcare is provided for those same children while the adults race. The runners then set off on a 5-kilometre loop, to be covered once or twice. There are prizes for the first three men and women at each distance, and a bar and something to eat afterwards.
