Hyacintentrail Essenbeek

About the race

The Hyacintentrail follows the paths of the Hallerbos, starting and finishing at Zaal Vergeetmijnietje in Essenbeek. At two the kids runs of 600 and 1300 metres set off, split by year of birth; half an hour later the three main distances go. The two shorter ones — 8.56 and 14.91 kilometres — can also be walked; the 21.26 kilometres is for runners only. Walkers may leave as soon as they have their wristband, but anyone starting before two navigates alone: the marshals are not out yet, so follow the arrows or a downloaded GPS route. Every participant receives a medal designed specially for that edition.
