The Hart van Oijen race is named after the village hall on the Kloosterstraat where the start and finish are. There are two distances for adults, 5 and 10 kilometres, setting off together at half past ten; before them the children run, in two groups by age. The course combines the Oijen dike along the Maas with a loop through the village centre, so that runners take in both the open river landscape and the built-up part. The race is the sixth event of the Maasland Run Classic, a circuit in the Oss region. Entry is possible until half an hour before the start and the fee stays low.
